Troy Lee Maloy, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023. Troy was born on April 1, 1939 to Troy Francis and Harriet (Reebe) Maloy. He graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School and then served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961.
Troy married Helen Roop in 1987 and they spent several years traveling and living in several states as he completed his work as an Electrical Lineman. In retirement, Troy enjoyed studying the Bible sharing the gospel and was very proud of his garden.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harry Joel Maloy; his sister, Lilly Ann Hatzold; and step-sons, Harold and Brian Roop.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend David Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery in the Lovings Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday; 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday; 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
