RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC women’s soccer players of the week for the third week of the season. Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Christi-Anne Mills claimed Offensive Player of the Week while Southern Nazarene’s Adison Johnson and Gianna Bonnett earned Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.

#theGAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Christi-Anne Mills, F, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Sr., Basseterre, St. Kitts
Mills scored both goals in the Rangers’ 2-1 victory against Newman on Wednesday. She scored the contest’s opening goal with a 10th-minute tally. After the Jets leveled the match in the 30th minute, she came up with the game winner when she converted a chance in the 72nd minute. At 5-0-1, the Rangers own their longest unbeaten streak since October 2022.

#theGAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Adison Johnson, D, Southern Nazarene, Jr., Aurora, Colorado
Johnson played the full 90 minutes against Central Oklahoma and 84 minutes in the Crimson Storm’s victory against Newman. The defense allowed two goals between the two games. She contributed to the offense as she scored in the 79th minute against Bronchos and in the 89th minute against the Jets.

#theGAC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK – Gianna Bonnett, GK, Southern Nazarene, Sr., Eastvale, California
Bonnett posted a 1.22 goals-against average across the Crimson Storm’s two matches. She made three saves against Central Oklahoma. She followed up with six saves in a 3-0 shutout of Newman, the 18th shutout of her career. She registered a .818 save percentage.
