Welcome to my weekly commissioners’ corner.
The first day of fall has arrived and a cool front is also supposed to be here this week. I am ready!
The county commissioners voted Jarel Brown onto the EOMC hospital board.
Only part of the parts came in for equipment, so we hope to complete the blade patching and spreading asphalt on Rock Jail Road in Panama as soon as the parts arrive this week.
We will be in the Calhoun area installing tinhorns this week. Latham School House Road will be closed on Tuesday to install a tinhorn across the road. This may cause some delays. Let people know if that road affects their or your commute.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation is still resurfacing roads. You should expect delays as they improve roads in their department. Highway 112 going over Backbone Mountain is one of those areas. Reminder one end of Gassaway Loop is closed while the highway department replaces the bridge on State Highway 83.
If you see roads that need a patch crew, please call and let us know. We miss areas and can get out and fix areas if you will let us know.
We are still taking bids for a good used service truck, 2018 or newer. Must have a utility bed and crane already installed.
Tune into KPRV 92.5 on Wednesday mornings between 7:00 A.M. and 7:10 A.M for my weekly radio commissioners corner.
