I hope everyone got a chance to spend time with their moms this weekend. I was blessed with an amazing mom who not only loved on us but also loved the Lord. Even though she’s not here on Earth with us anymore, her legacy lives on in us. Make sure you always honor your mom. Tomorrow is never promised.
Well you may have seen them out and about, but our brushhog crews have started for the season and will be making their rounds. It’s been pretty wet so they can’t get very far over but they will be back. This will at least help knockdown all the weeds.
We will be out working on Calhoun Road this week, weather permitting on that job.
Last week I filled out for another Unpaved Road grant and was awarded it for Latham School Road in the amount of $75,000. This grant is for the section of road from the fire department to Bird Bird Stone. After completing that section, I will apply for a grant to complete the rest of the road.
Our painting crews are still out painting. Our patch crews will be out this week patching. If you see an area that needs attention, please make sure you call in and let us know. Lots of tinhorns are also being replaced around the county that needed work.
