Weather comment! I can’t believe how long it’s been, but while i’m writing this article Monday Morning, I can hear the sound of RAIN. The dry spell has been good and bad. Good- Didn’t buy any gas to mow the grass for a couple of months, Skeeters have almost disappeared. Bad- not very colorful Fall foliage, dust covers everything. I saw ducks that were carrying bottled water to land in. It got that bad! We needed some relief. Thank You, Lord!

Halloween is being celebrated on Sat. 29th in most places with Live Music. Kinda tradition. I always enjoyed getting a costume and having fun with it. BUT every seven years the Halloween Party landed on a Sat. nite, my church family would wonder if I wadn’t back on the sauce. It is a little known fact that if ya buy the spray paint for hair and beards that It takes several warshings to get out. One Sunday morning my beard was bright blue. Another, it was dayglo orange! And they oughtta put a warning label that says “Cover nose, shut mouth and hold breath!” Got a lil’ dizzy the first time. Have a safe and spooky Halloween. And wouldn’t ya know it. There is a slight chance of rain.
