Kiamichi Technology Centers award Foundation Scholarships to nine outstanding students:

 

Jesus Benitez – Welding Technology
Hali Carr – Practical Nursing
Karli Chesner – Practical Nursing
Judy Huffman – Paramedic
Jeff Holley – Welding Technology
Haneefah Mason – Practical Nursing
Ryan Middleton – Electrical Technology
Dakota Province – Practical Nursing
Melisa Sullivan – Culinary Arts

 

The Kiamichi Technology Center Foundation was founded by Arch & Reidy Gothard of Poteau in 1994. Since then numerous public and private donations have been added to the foundation. If you would like to contribute to KTC’s Foundation, please contact Poteau Campus Director, Michael Culwell, at 918-647-4525. All donations are tax-exempt.


Kiamichi Technology Centers has been an integral part of the communities in southeastern Oklahoma since 1968, serving ten full counties and parts of three other counties. KTC is part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system and is one of 29 districts within the state.

 

KTC has more than 30 career programs, and offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses as well as certifications in many diverse career fields. KTC serves nearly 23,000 individuals each year, including many area companies who receive training through the Business and Industry Services Division that works with over 400 businesses each year.
