Poteau’s MJ Agency, Farmers Insurance Agency makes community involvement and giving back a top priority in their business plan.
After Stacee Midgley and Tonia Johnson were given the opportunity to buy the Farmers Agency that they had helped build for over 20 years they made the decision to when given the opportunity they would do what they could to give back to the community that supports them.
The agents & staff at MJ Agency have volunteered their time and resources to help out those in our area in need. They have a special soft spot when it comes to children. MJ Agency has a strong belief that children are the foundation of the future of our community and some of them can really use some help.
In 2018 alone, MJ Agency has given away $4800 in school supplies for Hodgen, Heavener, Howe, Poteau, Cameron & Wister Schools, helped sponsor cheerleaders and ball teams, donated $2900 to the athletic departments at Howe, Poteau & Wister schools.
Going forward in 2019, MJ Agency has big plans to continue their community support and they hope when you think about insurance you will think of them.
