Poteau 7th & 8th Grade Center has announced the March 2023 Students of the Month. Seventh graders Shaydee Breashears and James Lamb are joined by eighth graders Lextyn Soehlman and Mattox Painter for this month’s honors.
Shaydee is the daughter of Taylor Jo Hasley and Josh Hasley. Her electives are athletics, band and FACS. Shaydee likes school “because I get to see friends often and learn new things”. She is a member of NJHS and FCCLA.
James Lamb is the son of Jermey Lamb and Tracy Lamb. His electives are athletics, tech ed and band. James likes school “because I am able to play basketball and read”.
Lextyn Soehlman is the daughter of Hollie Soehlman and Mike Soehlman. Her electives are FACS, athletics and yearbook. Lextyn likes school “because I get to spend time with friends and learn”. She is a member of NJHS.
Mattox Painter is the son of Tim Painter and Lindsey Painter. His electives are athletics and band. Mattox likes school “because I get to see my friends and I get to compete with my friends in sports. He is a member of NJHS and Library Staff.
