According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, on May 18, 2018 at approximately 5:07pm, a Cookson man was injured in a motorcycle accident on State Highway 82, 10 miles North of Vian in Sequoyah County.
According to the OHP, a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Johnny Rushing, 36, of Vian was traveling northbound on SH82 when the motorcycle departed the roadway to right and overturning.
Rushing was transported to St John Hospital by Air Evac and was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
