Sharon Kay Clinton passed away May 20, 2026, at her home in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 79. Sharon was born November 3, 1946, to JB Oliver and Gladys (Heflin) Oliver in Wister, Oklahoma.
Sharon is survived by Ron Pound, her companion for many years, her son Kenneth Parks and wife Tonya of Cleveland, Oklahoma, her daughter, Penny French of Crossrider, Alabama, her grandchildren, Dustin Dunston, Brandie Bruno, Clayton Collins, Miles Collins, Brittney Love, Christopher Wood, Austin Wood and Sarah Higgins, her great grandson, Frankie Bruno along with numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11am – Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma with Jack McLaughlin officiating. The Family of Sharon Kay Clinton will greet friends from 5pm – 7pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at The Cedars 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma 74953. Casket bearers will be her beloved family and friends.
