Graveside Service for Elizabeth Ann Thompson, 71 of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Maxey Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma with Jimmy Autrey officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Ann was born on August 2, 1952 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Doyce (Layman) Leavenworth and Wallace Leavenworth and passed away on January 3, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband David Alan Thompson; Sisters Barbara Khan, and Clara Walline Lenard.
Survivors include her sons David Thompson, James Thompson, and Kyle Rice; Daughters Dana Thompson, and Amy Taylor; Brothers Daris Lenard, Sr., Daris Lenard, Jr., and Michael Wayne Lenard; Cousins Sharon K Durbin, Bessie Lawrence, and Linda Roork; Numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Thompson, Jimmy Autrey, Jerry Butler, Daris Lenard, Jr., Jonathan Casper,and Lanny Akers.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
A reception will be held after the service at the House of Blessings Church 14612 Ash Street Monroe, OK 74947
