Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence William Fredrick and Mary Jane Meyer and one brother, Edward Warren Fredrick Meyer.
Lawrence was a cherished member of our community and a skilled welder. He left behind a legacy of creativity and passion. Throughout his life, he found joy in building motorcycles and crafting model vehicles and planes, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication. A devoted sports enthusiast, Lawrence was an avid fan of NASCAR, football, and baseball, proudly supporting the Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants. As a loving husband, he exuded happiness and warmth, bringing light to the lives of those around him. Lawrence’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to honor Lawrence’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center in Poteau, Oklahoma with Dr. William Willis officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
